THE BUSINESS ROUND
THE HEART OF CIRCULART!
Our robust Business Round is the center of the market, during these days there are about 2,000 meetings, each one up to 15 minutes between the more than 100 artists selected by call and programmers and industry professionals, who manage their appointments through of a virtual platform.
The model of the cultural business rounds was taken from commercial and manufacturing industries, where the product made was taken to international fairs and spaces to bring it closer to big buyers and thus increase the distribution channels.
At the end of the 90’s in Salvador de Bahía, the first business round model in the music sector in Latin America was produced, becoming the forerunner of what would become a phenomenon for the arts and culture of our continent.
Circulart was born within the framework of the Third Ibero-American Congress of Culture held in Medellin in 2010 as the congress’ business round and showcases. That same year, a trade fair of 80 stands was held, starting a decade of exchange and networking.
Circulart has replicated this model year after year, bringing together musical artists, record labels, booking and management agencies with professional programmers (producers, festival and theater directors, programmers, digital aggregators, agents and labels, among others) and Industry Professionals (goods and services providers associated with the music value chain), in a space conducive to the exchange of ideas, projects and commercial relationships.
Our Business Round is managed through a powerful virtual platform where more than 100 Latin American Artists selected by call, schedule their appointments with professionals (producers, festival and theater directors, programmers, digital aggregators, agents and labels, among others) to meet face-to-face, thus facilitating negotiation and exchange.
Do you want to attend? Participate in the call for artists, musical groups, booking agencies, management and record labels that will be open from April 24th until May 31st this year, or register as professional programmer or professional industry.
