The home of Circulart!

Medellín has been hosting Circulart for ten years. It’s here, in this city, where the magic happens, where tens of music industry professionals converge in November, year after year, to share ideas and turn them into projects.

About the city

Medellín is the capital of the department of Antioquia, and it’s the second-most populated city in Colombia. Its average temperature is 24 degrees celsius (75ºF). It covers an extension of 382 km2 (147 mi2); and the Medellín river, which for a long time has been considered the life of the city, runs from North to South through it.

2,508,452 people live in this cheerful city that sits into a valley since 1813. There is no doubt that here you can always meet special places to dance, enjoy, and celebrate life, culture and art. There is no doubt that thanks to its hospitality, identity, natural power, and people, this is a charming and unique city in the country.

In 2013 Medellín was chosen as the most innovative city of the year within the framework of the City of the Year contest, organized by The Wall Street Journal and Citigroup, drawing the attention of creative and cultural industries. So, everyone is invited to passionately live this cultural market that aims to serve as a support and launch point for the various Latin American cultural projects.
