MEDELLÍN

Medellin is Circulart’s home for the past seven years; it’s in this city where the magic happens, where dozens of music industry professionals converge year after year on the month of November to share ideas and turn them into projects. In Medellin, we get together to talk about Latin-American music and the infinite opportunities it has to expand, as well as surprise us with new local and international talents and to celebrate music in all its splendor.

Medellin is the capital of the department of Antioquia, and is the second most populated city in Colombia. Its average temperature is 24 degrees Celsius, it covers 382 km2 and is traversed, from south to north, by the Medellin river which has been considered the city’s life force from a while back.

2’508.452 Medellin habitants live in this joyful city, located at the heart of a valley since 1813. Here, without a doubt, one can always find special places to dance, enjoy and celebrate life, culture and art. Undoubtedly, it’s a city that enchants us with its grand hospitality, its character, its natural strength and its people that make it unique in the country.

It was selected as the Most Innovative City in the World in 2013 by The Wall Street Journal and Citigroup in its City of the Year content, which attracted all eyes from the cultural and creative industries. Therefore, all are invited to experience this cultural market enthusiastically as its objective is to serve as a point of support and launching platform for the various Latin-American cultural projects.
